WHY BECOME A MEMBER?

Why become a member?

RAYS has been registered to support talented singers, performers and producers of phonograms to receive a fair remuneration with respect to playing and broadcasting of their music in public. Any singer, performer and producer of phonograms can be our member without taking any additional actions, because our membership is free. Our members vary from the most famous performers of the country to independent emerging singers.

RAYS does not apply joining fee in order to not decrease the royalties paid to members.

Proper local royalty payments

We collect royalties from all users and distribute among rightsholders per quarter.

Proper international royalty payments

Under international agreements with foreign collective management organisations, we collect royalties with respect to usage of local music recordings abroad of Azerbaijan and distribute properly.

Transparency of royalty calculation

RAYS has special database system to make accurate royalty calculation based on the used music.

Personal member account

Every member of RAYS has personal secure account in our database system that includes detailed information on received royalty and music catalogue, which can be easily managed by members.

Personal support

All members are provided with required technical and legal support upon their requests.
