WHAT WE DO
RAYS is a collective management organization has based in Azerbaijan since 2022. RAYS operates with authorizing and protecting related (neighboring) music rights in Azerbaijan and works with numerous performers and recording rightsholders.
Whether it is broadcast on radio, TV, or online we make sure to authorize you to use the recorded music. Through mutual agreement RAYS authorizes users such as radio stations, TV broadcasters, and various digital media services to replay records and music tunes in Azerbaijan as part of their initiative. RAYS also offers authorization to music sources to install recorded music for services such as in-store music systems, compilations for sports classes, and onboard entertainment systems. One of our goals is to ensure that our members always receive royalties on publicly playing their music
The range of our members contrasts from session musicians and young artists to record labels and globally successful performers and all of them are entitled to be fairly paid for the use of their recorded music. Upon calculation based on the usage of music and after deduction of our administrative costs, RAYS distributes all collected royalties to rightsholders and members we represent.

Under agreements with foreign collective management organizations (CMOs), RAYS is also able to collect royalties on behalf of our local performers and recording rightsholders when their recorded music is played around the world. In order to collect your international royalties correctly by RAYS, we need to be provided by you with an up-to-date international mandate appointing us to do so.
